These Consensus Recommendations were developed by Futures Without Violence’s National Health Resource Center on Domestic Violence in partnership with the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. The guidelines were designed to assist health care providers from the pediatric and family practice settings in addressing adult and childhood domestic violence victimization. This includes assessment, documentation, intervention and referrals.
